September 2026 Intake
Learn. Practice. Qualify. Start your new career.
Professional, hands-on Level 2 Hairdressing training in a real salon environment in Teddington, London. Small classes. Live models. Individual support.
September 2026 • Maximum 10 students • Teddington, London

The Course
A practical, salon-based six-month course built around real work: technique taught properly, practised on mannequins, then applied to live models under supervision.
Curriculum
Sectioning, control and precision — the fundamentals of a commercial cut you can repeat with confidence.
Colour theory, application, foils and highlighting techniques worked through step by step.
Finish work that clients notice: smooth, shaped blow-dries and dressed-out styling.
The knowledge behind the practical — consultation, hair science, safety and salon standards.
Working on live models in a working salon, with a tutor beside you the whole way.
A maximum of 10 students per intake means your work is watched, corrected and developed individually — not from the back of a room.
The Method
Technique and theory taught properly, in a structured weekly session.
Repetition on mannequin heads until the movement becomes yours.
Real heads, real hair, real consultations — supervised in the salon.
Finish Level 2 ready to work, with a clear route into Level 3 Advanced.
The course runs for six months. You attend one required training day each week, with the option to assist in the salon for one extra day when you wish.

The person behind the training
Founder & Educator
Hi, I’m Artina Selimaj, founder of Art In London Hair Academy and owner of Art In London Salon.
Hairdressing has been a meaningful part of my professional journey. My experience comes from behind the chair — working with real hair, real clients and real challenges.
As a qualified Hairdressing Educator & Assessor, I created this academy because I believe confidence comes from doing.
I want every student to have someone beside them who doesn’t just tell them what to do, but shows them how and why.
That’s why I keep my classes small. I want to know every student, understand where they need support and watch their confidence grow.
You don’t need to arrive confident. That’s what you come here to build.
My goal isn’t simply to help you complete a course. I want you to leave feeling and thinking like a real hairdresser.
